The Soul Train Awards

Jay-Z, Destiny's Child, Nelly, and Carl Thomas have been announced as performers for the 15th Annual Soul Train Music Awards. This year's ceremony will take place this Wednesday, February 28th at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

Other performers at the event include Jill Scott, Mystikal, Jagged Edge, and Mya. The ceremony will also feature a tribute to legendary singers, the Isley Brothers, who are currently working on a new album with R Kelly and Raphael Saadiq, among others. Kelly Price, Sisqo, and Gerald Levert will perform a medley of Isley Brothers hits during the tribute.

Nominees this year include Jay-Z, OutKast, Nelly, Carl Thomas, and Jill Scott, among others. Destiny's Child will be honored with the Sammy Davis Jr. Female Entertainer of the Year award, while Jay-Z will receive the Male Entertainer of the Year award.

Scheduled presenters include Avant, Deborah Cox, Lil' Bow Wow, Mary Mary, and Tamia. The ceremony will be hosted by Mya, Queen Latifah, and "Soul Train" host, Shemar Moore.

The 15th Annual Soul Train Music Awards will air in syndication on March 3rd.
