Members Quit S Club 7 and Dream
Pop groups Dream and S Club 7 have more in common than hits in the pop charts as members have quit both groups recently.
Paul Cattermole of S Club 7 is quitting the group and plans to return to a rock band that he formed before joining S Club 7. Paul also said the pressure of fame caused him to re-think his participation in S Club. The singer was busted (along with the other male members of S Club 7) for smoking marijuana last year. Paul will perform for the last time at the Queen's Golden Jubilee concert in England on June 3.
The other teen singer making headlines this week is Dream member Melissa Schuman. The P. Diddy founded girl-group found fame with the hits "He Loves U Not" and "This Is Me" in 2001. Schuman has quit Dream and hopes to pursue an acting career. Dream is now faced with finding another member, but it's being rumoured that they may carry on as a three-piece.
