Beyonce Prepares For Sibling Rivalry

Beyonce Knowles has a new challenger for her R&B crown - her younger sister Solange.

Solange Knowles, 15, has recorded her debut album "Solo Star," which is set for release on June 25 - and she's determined to blaze her own trail, rather than copy her 20-year-old sibling.

Solange says, "It's not a bad thing to be compared to Destiny's Child - they're very talented, but it gets annoying when people don't give me the opportunity to be me. With this album I hope to achieve that."

And Solange hopes that the rock-tinged R&B album's personally penned lyrics will inspire others to be individual.

She adds, "I've always dressed differently and listened to different music than everyone else, and I've learned that you need to stay true to yourself, because there's nothing worse than trying to be someone you're not."
