Nick Carter on O-Town

Nick Carter denies any rivalry between his band Backstreet Boys and O-Town.

The singer, who is releasing a solo album "Now or Never" next month (October), even goes as far as admitting he likes the manufactured fivesome, who were put together on reality show "Making the Band."

Nick says, "O-Town are a great group. People love them. I'm proud that a lot of young male vocal groups are following in the footsteps of the Backstreet Boys."

"It's an amazing life being in a band so I know how they feel, seeing their first video on MTV or hearing themselves on the radio."
