Big Boi Confirms More Outkast Offerings
Outkast star Big Boi has again rubbished reports their upcoming album will be their last - because he and rap partner Andre 3000 plan to release two LPs within a year.
Boi, who is touring America with Usher in August - without Andre - recently admitted their relationship is solely based on their chemistry in the studio and hinted the soundtrack to the HBO-funded Outkast movie would be their last collaboration.
But the hip-hop star has delighted fans by announcing he also plans to record a "hardcore album" with Andre and producers Organized Noise - and release it later this year.
Boi says, "You gonna get two albums within the next 365 days. The soundtrack will be released in May. It's gonna be all brand-new songs, me and Dre on one CD together.
"But before we put the soundtrack out, we're going to put another album out this November. It's gonna be a hardcore album, me and Dre letting Organized Noize produce the whole album. I can't give you the title of it yet, but it's coming together nicely."
