Did J.Lo Disappoint Russian Orphans?

Jennifer Lopez reportedly snubbed hundreds of orphans to marry her Latin lover Marc Anthony.

Sources claim the star had promised to appear at a fundraising concert in Russia, attended by 450 orphans, on the day of her surprise wedding in the garden of her Beverly Hills mansion, according to America's New York Post newspaper.

But Jennifer, a special ambassador for the United Nations, allegedly cancelled the engagement as guest of honor just hours before she was due to fly to Moscow.

The concert was set to coincide with the opening of her new J.Lo clothing shop in the city, which she also missed.

The Russian J.Lo licensee, Melanie Bonvicino, told the New York Post: "She didn't let us know until the day she was supposed to get on the plane. There definitely exists a binding agreement. We were hoping Ms Lopez would be the honorable lady she purported to be in meetings."

However, Jennifer's business manager, Simon Fields, insists the star did not sign any contract and claims she was too busy filming her new movie, 'Monster-In-Law', to travel to Russia.

He said: "She is in the middle of making a movie - there is no way she was going anywhere."
