Marc Anthony "Fliips" for J.Lo

Jennifer Lopez's new husband, Marc Anthony, has splashed out $24,000 on a pair of fancy flips-flops for her.

The salsa singer, who wed J.Lo in a surprise ceremony almost two weeks ago, bought the sandals, trimmed with 18-carat gold 'feathers', for his new bride to show off her "beautiful" feet.

A friend revealed: "The flip flops are so extravagant. They are so bling with delicate shavings of real gold feathers."

Last week, it was claimed the couple's marriage may be invalid.

They wed J.Lo's at Los Angeles mansion on June 5, just four days after Marc's 'quickie' divorce from former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres was finalized in the Dominican Republic.

But according to the US Embassy in the Dominican Republic, divorces don't become valid for 60 days - meaning J.Lo and Marc's wedding was 56 days too early.

Marc has also refused to admit he married Jennifer.

Despite published photos of the pair's secret wedding, the singer - who is wearing a ring on his wedding finger - has been dodging questions about the ceremony in American TV interviews to promote his new CD, 'Amar Sin Mentiras' (To Love Without Lies).
