DeGarmo Performs After Stage Fall

American Idol runner-up Diana DeGarmo ignored doctors' advice and performed in Detroit, Michigan, last night after falling down stairs on the American Idol Live stop in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Tuesday.

The teen singer was taken to hospital after she slipped down a long flight of stairs during her performance of Beyonce Knowles' hit Crazy In Love at the Van Andel Arena, but she was given the all-clear by medics and discharged.

DeGarmo was told to sit out last night's show to recover from the severe bruising, but chose to ignore medical advice and sing solo hit Dreams, which required little choreography.
