Ozzy and Sharon's talent contest

Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne are hosting their own talent show - in a bid to find a new rock band.

The former Black Sabbath frontman and his wife, who star in MTV's hit reality show 'The Osbournes', will front the show, 'Battle for Ozzfest', in which eight groups compete for a chance to perform at Ozzy's Ozzfest tour.

The hopefuls will be selected by 65,000 online voters and will travel on the same bus around America, facing several challenges each week, with one group getting eliminated on a weekly basis.

Ozzy and Sharon will be the judges and the winning group will receive touring cash, equipment and a possible record deal.

The band will then perform at 2005 Ozzfest - when it celebrates its 10th anniversary.

Sharon is currently starring in British TV talent show 'The X Factor' alongside 'American Idol' judge Simon Cowell.
