Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine has reportedly split from his girlfriend.

The sexy singer is said to have ended his 18-month relationship with model Kelly McGee due to his busy work schedule.

A source revealed to Britain's Mirror newspaper: "Adam's really upset as they were together for a long time. But he's so busy now that he doesn't have time to wallow."

Adam recently confessed he considered ending his romance with Kelly after six months - because he was finding it too difficult to maintain the relationship.

The handsome star admitted he and Kelly had experienced problems which had led to him contemplating their future together.

He recently told Britain's New magazine: "Kelly and I have had our problems. We take it day by day, but love is tough."

"I was tempted to move on after six months with Kelly, but you have to weigh it up. The best things in life always require effort, patience and sacrifice."

Kelly was reportedly furious with Adam's love scenes with his favourite actress, Kelly Preston, in the band's video, 'She Will Be Loved'.

He said: "Kelly Preston is a woman I would love to make out with in real life. My girlfriend was less than happy when I did the shoot."
