Christina and Britney Go Head-To-Head

Long-time rivals Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears are set to go head-to-head in a chart battle next month.

Sexy Christina has shifted the release date of her forthcoming single back a week so that it coincides with the release of her former 'Mickey Mouse Club' co-star's new track.

The pop babe's single 'Carwash', a duet with rap star Missy Elliott, will now hit the shops on November 1st - instead of October 25th as originally planned - the same day as newlywed Britney's cover of Bobby Brown's '80s hit, 'My Prerogative'.

Early reports suggest Christina - whose song is taken from the soundtrack of new animated movie 'Shark Tale' - may just outsell Britney after her track came 19th in a list of the most played songs on radio stations, compared to Britney's single, which was 36th.
