Bow Wow: "Lil no more!

Bow Wow dropped the 'lil and has moved up and on to a prosperous adult career! This guy must be one of the busiest young stars in the music industry. He performs continually and is about to embark on the infamous Scream Tour! The tour is aptly named because the lineup includes every teen girl's heart-throb. Bow Wow, Pretty Rick, Omarian, B5 and Bobby Valentino are all amongst the performers you can scream your head off for, at this year's Scream Tour IV! Besides touring, Bow Wow released his new album "Wanted" which hit stores July 12th. The artist is very happy to be able to work with Jermaine Dupri again, and, so far, the combination of these two has been a huge success!

If you thought that was it, guess again. Bow Wow has a TV series in the works as well as the brand new movie, Roll Bounce, in theatres September 23rd. What keeps a young man so dedicated? What was working with his girlfriend, Ciara like? And why does he think he is considered this generation's LL Cool J?

TeenHollywood: Hi, how are you? Would you start by giving us a brief summary of what is going on in your life right now?

Bow Wow: Yeah, yeah, yeah! "Wanted", the brand new album, is out. I am very excited about that!

TeenHollywood: Congratulations!

Bow Wow: Yeah! Thank you, thank you! "Let me hold U" which is my first single is officially the #1 rap record in the country; so I got to thank my fans and the country for that. I thank everyone that supports and believes in the record. Otherwise, I am just working. I have the Scream IV Tour that I am headlining and starting to tour. So I think out of all the days this one right here is gonna be the longest.

TeenHollywood: Are you performing tonight?

Bow Wow: Nah, not tonight I am just interviewing, and a lot of press. Man, I am just tryna sell this album! [Laughs]

TeenHollywood: And you are on TRL tomorrow? [Note: We talked to Bow Wow on July 11th, before his TRL appearance.]

Bow Wow: Yeaaaaaah! So that's gonna be really crazy we are gonna try to shut it down! This is the time, you know. The release week is when things get real hectic!

TeenHollywood: And you have a movie coming out real soon! You must be excited about that?

Bow Wow: Yes, without a doubt. I am just excited about everything right now! [Laughs] My brand new movie Roll Bounce will be in theatres September 23rd; so everyone can get ready for that! I know a lot a people were waiting for that as well as the album, but the album is here. The album is here and there ain't no turning back. I need everyone out there to go get the record! Make sure everyone picks up at least two copies!

TeenHollywood: Do you see yourself eventually becoming predominantly an actor?

Bow Wow: Definitely! I believe, in the future, I will close my career out as an actor! That's how I feel!

TeenHollywood: Can you tell us a little about your TV series?

Bow Wow: Yeah. Well actually, I put a hold on it because it would interfere with the Scream Tour. My album and my music career is priority right now and I did not want to do anything to jeopardize that. It would not have been fair for the fans because they really want to see this and I didn't want to have to pull out. I didn't want to do that at all!

TeenHollywood: So when can your fans expect to see you on TV?

Bow Wow: Probably closer to the end of this year, and if not then definitely next year.

TeenHollywood: The ladies obviously love you! You are the next generations LL. Why do you think that is?

Bow Wow: I guess I can relate to LL because at the age of 16 all the girls were on him and he was a rapper. They just look at him as if he was a heart-throb. It is the same thing with me. I consider my self the modern day Cool J. That is what the people think about me, I guess. It is what it is, but right now I am just having fun with everything. I am just taking everything step by step, inch by inch and having a lot of fun. I am just really blessed.

TeenHollywood: I know you are having fun but how much of it is fun and how much of it is just pure dedication?

Bow Wow: All of it is dedication. 100%, because I love what I do. At the same time though, it has been 100% fun!

TeenHollywood: You kept everyone in mind recording this album. The kids, the guys and the ladies. What is your favorite track?

Bow Wow: Oooo...I would have to say "Big Dreams" is definitely one of my favorite records on there. "Fresh Azimiz" is hot.

TeenHollywood: What talent do you think Jermaine Dupri brought to your album?

Bow Wow: He brought a lot of talent, the over all sound. Any time Jermaine and I work together there is chemistry! We had the great chemistry that we brought on the first two albums and now we are bringing it back. What is really the thing is what Jemain brings and what I bring and how we work together.

TeenHollywood: What was it like working with Ciara? You guys are official now, right?

Bow Wow: Yeah. It was cool. As an artist she is very talented. She is doin' her thing and having a lot of fun with Two Young Individuals. We had a great time. We are doing something we wanted to do since we were little and now we get the chance to display it in front of the World and it is a beautiful thing.

TeenHollywood: How exactly did Snoop discover you? I know there are a lot of conflicting stories.

Bow Wow: Yeah. Snoop discovered me in Columbus, Ohio. I jumped on the stage and started rapping. Next thing you know Snoop wanted me to come backstage, so I did. All I can remember was me taking pictures with everybody, from Snoop to Dre and the whole entire crew. It was crazy. I remember it like it was yesterday from the day that he gave me my name and everything has just jumped off!
