Rapper Kayne West wowed a star-studded audience including Sean 'Diddy' Combs, dance star Moby and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine for an exclusive Aids benefit last week.
The star was introduced as a "hip-hop icon" by actor Terrence Howard and performed for an hour at glitzy venue Cipriani's in New York City.
The charity gig to raise money for AMFAR - an Aids research and prevention project - saw West joined by surprise guests Grammy-winning singer/songwriter John Legend and rapper NAS. The trio performed NAS' classic If I Ruled The World (Imagine That).
During the show West joked, "I used to sneak into events like this!"
"I feel like I'm living in the afterlife. My life is a dream."
