The Killers Drummer Speaks Out at Media

The Killers drummer Ronnie Vannucci has hit out at the media for glamourising frontman Brandon Flowers while ignoring the rest of the band.

Since achieving worldwide success with their debut album Hot Fuss in 2004, singer Flowers has been relentlessly pursued by music journalists in the UK, leaving the remaining three band members mildly irritated at being snubbed.

Vannucci says, "The British press like to hold the lead singer up on this big pedestal away from the rest of the band. Everybody needs a superhero I guess, but it's certainly not the case, especially not in our band.

"It's important that people see our band as four unique individuals who make this music together."
