Yung Joc A Fugitive
Rapper Yung Joc has been declared a fugitive after failing to show at an arraignment on weapons charges.
The Grammy-nominated star was scheduled to face a felony charge of carrying a concealed weapon in a Cleveland, Ohio court on Wednesday.
Joc - real name Jasiel Robinson - was arrested on Sunday night, accused of attempting to take a loaded semi-automatic handgun through security at Ohio's Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.
The rap star maintains his innocence, insisting he did not know the weapon was in his carry-on luggage. He was released on $50,000 bail on Monday.
After his no-show on Wednesday, Cuyahoga County officials confirmed the rapper was considered a fugitive. As Wenn went to press, they were planning to request a warrant for him.
His attorney, Stanley Jackson Jr., apologised for his client's no show, explaining Joc was unable to attend court, due to personal and family obligations.
