Rapper Lil' Kim has quit Atlantic Records after a lengthy business relationship with the label, founded by the late Ahmet Ertegun.
The hitmaker plans to release her upcoming as-yet-untitled album, her first since her jail stint last year, independently.
Reports suggest Kim will join Fat Joe at Imperial Records.
