Selena Gomez Won't Sing About Boyfriends

Teen star Selena Gomez has promised she'll never write songs about failed relationships with boys, no matter how bad she has been treated.

While her pop rivals Katy Perry and Taylor Swift admit much of their material is inspired by their exes - 16-year-old Selena prefers to keep her private life to herself.

Gomez - who once dated wholesome heartthrob Nick Jonas - says, "I get so mad at ex-boyfriends, but if a boy hurts me, I don't write a song about it. They don't deserve me."
