Rihanna Dismisses Talk of "The Bodyguard" Remake

Rihanna has shot down rumours she is in talks to remake Whitney Houston's 1992 classic The Bodyguard.

Reports surfaced on Monday alleging the Umbrella hitmaker was set to star in a modern day version of the hit romantic drama.

Rihanna has been keeping a low profile since an alleged fight with her boyfriend Chris Brown last month, but she was said to be planning to return to the public eye in style with a move to Hollywood.

A source said, "Before the situation with Chris, Ri was getting a lot of scripts. She's been wanting to do movies for a while now."

However, the R&B star's representative has dismissed the claims to MTV.com, insisting the singer is not fielding any movie offers.
