Katy Perry has a secret bathtime treat - she munches pizza as she relaxes in the tub.

The I Kissed A Girl hitmaker has been battling a bout of influenza while on tour in Europe and has felt too ill to eat.

But as she recovers, the star's appetite has returned - and she gave fans a glimpse into her dietary habits with a photograph of herself reclining in a bath with a marguerita pizza on a tray.

The naked snap was taken in her hotel room in Milan, Italy and posted by the star on her Twitter.com page.

She writes, "Why is it that after not eating for three days all I can think of is food... food is smiling at me... luring me with sexual seduction... I have no self control."

Perry then went on to list her favourite snacks - including endive salad, spicy chicken sandwiches, and shrimp and yellow tail sashimi.
