Kelly Clarkson Reacts to Kanye's VMA Outburst

Kelly Clarkson has taken aim at Kanye West again, revealing she found it "unsettling" to watch him make a young girl cry at the MTV Video Music Awards.

The outspoken pop star was among the first celebrities to attack the rapper online after he stormed the stage at the VMAs to protest Taylor Swift's Best Female Video win on Sunday night.

West snatched the microphone from Swift as she was making her acceptance speech and proclaimed his pal Beyonce deserved the prize, leaving the young country star "rattled" and speechless.

She later got to have her "moment" thanks to a gracious Beyonce, and West has since apologised for his actions - but Clarkson is still upset by what he did.

She says, "This industry is all about fun, it's music... (and) it was just a little unsettling to make a teenager cry."

Clarkson admits she's amazed so many people noted her blog comments about West, which in part read, "What happened to you as a child?? Did you not get hugged enough?? Something must have happened to make you this way and I think we're all just curious as to what would make a grown man go on national television and make a talented artist, let alone teenager, feel like s**t.

"I mean, I've seen you do some pretty s**tty things, but you just keep amazing me with your tactless, a**hole ways."

She was inundated with emails from fans and friends after her remarks.

Clarkson adds, "I didn't know that many people read my blog, but I got a message - 'You go girl' - from my mom, so I was pretty proud of that."
