Justin Bieber Pulls out of TV Appearance After Stunt Shock
Justin Bieber scrapped his appearance on hit German variety show Wetten Dass on Saturday after a stunt gone wrong sent a national daredevil hero to hospital.
Stuntman Samuel Koch was attempting to jump over moving cars when he landed awkwardly and appeared motionless as TV cameras rolled. Medics rushed to the 23 year old as millions of viewers watched in horror.
The star-studded live show was subsequently cancelled even though host Thomas Gottschalk announced hospital-bound Koch was alive, and could feel his legs.
Cameron Diaz, Take That and Cher were all scheduled to appear on the hit show alongside Bieber.
The teen pop star took to his Twitter.com account to scrap his appearance on the show, scheduled for Saturday evening.
He wrote, "Just want to let my people in Germany know I won't be on Wetten Dass tonight as an accident has taken place and.... we all don't think it is right to continue. Please pray for Samuel Koch & his family as we wait and hope for his health and safety."
