Cheyenne Kimball
Biography
Born in 1990, Cheyenne Nichole Kimball had a love for music at an early age. At the age of 7 she was given a guitar by a friend. At 8, she penned her first song titled "All I Want Is You". Three months and 12 songs later, she asked her mother if she could perform in public but at her age it was difficult to find an appropriate venue. Then, Cheyenne read in a local publication of a contest at a nearby music store. She booked herse as a contestant, and performing her own original material, placed 2nd, overall. Her performance elicited offers for performance from clubs and coffee houses all over Texas. She continued to write and perform for local clubs and benefits, maturing rapidly, while growing a loyal fan base in the area. At 12, Cheyenne read that auditions for the NBC television show "America's Most Talented Kid" where taking place in Dallas. After auditioning and subsequently competing in the show, Cheyenne took first place, winning the Grand Finale, performing her own original material. With the huge success of the show, the eyes of record labels and agencies alike where on her. In October, 2003, Cheyenne signed a multi-record contract with Sony/Epic. Her new album set to arrive in stores in the spring, is a collection of songs showing a true maturity as a writer and performer. It’s style is both organic and energetic with instantly singable melodies and lyrics that put categorize her as anything but average. All of the material was written by Cheyenne, collaborating with some of the heaviest hitters in the production world: Kara DioGiardi and Greg Wells, Billy Mann, Brad Smith and Christopher Thorn, Scott Cuttler and Ann Previn, just to name a few. It’s truly just the beginning for Cheyenne. It’s not often that you see an artist as original and singularly talented, stunningly pretty, poised and articulate as Cheyenne.
