Drummer's Injury Devastated Maroon 5
Jun 9, 2007 - World Entertainment News Network
Maroon 5 rocker Adam Levine was devastated when original drummer Ryan Dusick was forced to leave the band due to an arm injury last year, calling the decision "the most difficult" he has had to face.
Dusick suffered irreparable arm damage to his right arm in 2004 and spent two years touring with the band watching his eventual replacement Matt Flynn fill in for him.
Levine says, "It was the most difficult thing. He was our brother. We played music in his garage."
"Me, Mickey (Madden, bassist), Ryan and Jesse (Carmichael, keyboardist) would sleep on his bedroom floor and dream about how we were going to be the biggest band in the world someday."
