Rap mogul Sean 'diddy' Combs has named his latest pop product Day26 after the date the R+b five-piece came together on his Making The Band 4 TV series.

The quintet officially became a group when Mtv viewers around the world selected the five winners on the Mtv reality TV show's finale on August 26th.

Diddy has spent the past five months selecting a name for his new protegees.

The group is currently at work on a debut album, which is being produced by Diddy's longtime collaborator Mario Winans.
