New Bid To Ban Snoop Dogg From U.K.

The British government has launched a new bid in order to prevent rapper Snoop Dogg from entering the country - after a judge overturned two previous attempts to ban him from the U.k.

The star - real name Calvin Broadus Jr. - was prohibited from entering Britain after he was involved in a brawl at Heathrow Airport in April 2006.

The ruling was overturned earlier this year and Britain's Border Agency had a subsequent appeal against the ruling turned down by an immigration judge last month.

However, the British Home Office has now filed a second appeal to challenge the decision - putting the star's proposed U.k tour later this year into jeopardy.

A spokesperson for the agency insist they will not give up the fight to keep Broadus out of the country, saying, "We will continue to oppose entry to the U.k. of individuals where we believe there may be a risk to the public."
