Rap superstar Jay-Z had a special treat in store for fans at his recent New York concert - he brought out his new wife Beyonce Knowles to take part in a brief skit.

The Big Pimpin' hitmaker, real name Shawn Carter, performed at the Big Apple's Madison Square Garden on Friday as part of his Heart of the City tour with Mary J. Blige.

During one part of his show, Jay-Z takes to the DJ booth and cues the instrumentals of his classic tracks, including Money Ain't A Thang and Hard Knock Life, before cutting them short and yelling, "F**k that!"

He grinned as he gave the same treatment to '03 Bonnie + Clyde, a duet with the former Destiny's Child beauty, and then Knowles' Crazy In Love - to which he shouted, "F**k that too... No disrespect."

Immediately after his comment, Knowles strutted on stage and struck a pose, raising her eyebrow in response to his decision to pull her song.

The hip-hop star played Crazy In Love again, and Knowles launched into her infamous 'uh oh' dance, much to the crowd's enjoyment. After finishing her routine, she walked over to her husband, spun on her heels and smiled before walking offstage, leaving her beau doubled over in laughter, reports MTV.com.
