Lil Wayne Scores a Third Week on Top
Jul 17, 2008 - World Entertainment News Network
Rapper Lil Wayne has scored a third non-successive week at the top of the U.S. album charts.
Tha Carter III debuted at number one with over one million sales last month but the album was toppled by Coldplay's Viva La Vida, which spent a week on top.
Lil Wayne rebounded to the top spot last week.
Viva La Vida and the soundtrack to Jonas Brothers movie Camp Rock are unmoved at two and three on the new Billboard countdown.
Beck claims the highest debut on the chart - his Modern Guilt enters at four - and Kid Rock's Rock N Roll Jesus completes the new top five.
