Pussycat Dolls star Nicole Scherzinger is to take a break from her boyfriend Lewis Hamilton - so they can both concentrate on their careers.

The singer has been dating the British Formula One driver since they met earlier this year but she admits that their relationship will have to be put on hold while she continues work on her band's forthcoming second album.

She says, "I am returning to the States to work on my new single and album. Lewis will be focusing on racing. I don't think we will have much time to see each other before Christmas."
