Hip-hop star Pharrell Williams is to become a dad, according to U.S. reports.

The N.E.R.D singer/rapper is reported to have been dating an unnamed model, after meeting her several months ago in Miami, Florida. And the couple is now said to be expecting a baby.

A source tells New York gossip column PageSix, "(The model) is very pregnant and travels with him."

"She hangs out at the backstage area when he performs."

"Pharrell is extremely private and won't release any details."
