New Kids Slam Backstreet Boys
Sep 2, 2008 - World Entertainment News Network
Newly reformed New Kids On The Block have hit out at fellow boyband Backstreet Boys - insisting their comeback will be much more successful.
Backstreet Boys have taken several breaks from the music scene throughout their career, and each time their return has failed to replicate the success of their heyday in the 1990s.
New Kids On The Block recently reunited after 15 years away from the pop market, but they insist that their comeback will eclipse the recent efforts of the Backstreet Boys.
Singer Danny Wood says, "Backstreet's records sound the same as before - their music didn't evolve like ours has. They never spoke too highly of us and said if we had talent we'd still be around. They should've probably kept their mouths shut!"
