Fall Out Boy star Pete Wentz has hit out at music bosses for allegedly using the band's new video to promote a cellphone company.

The promo for new single I Don't Care is said to have featured a variety of product placement shots of a Nokia phone.

And the version which was recently screened on the internet has reportedly angered bass player Wentz, who blasted the video on his official website.

He writes on his blog, "This will probably end up deleted either by me or someone else but the version of the video that we worked on night after night is not the version that aired. Yet somehow a cut full of glorious camera phone shots did. Just to let you know. It doesn't make any sense to us. That bag of money is being donated straight to a cause far more worthy."

The promo has since been removed from video sharing website YouTube, according to RollingStone.com.
