Beyonce Knowles has been honoured for her charity work at the Miami Children's Hospital Foundation Diamond Ball in Florida.

The Crazy In Love superstar was the guest of honour at the event on Saturday when she was inducted into the hospital's International Pediatric Hall of Fame.

Knowles' award comes just days after her rapper husband Jay-Z was praised for his humanitarian work in Africa at the United Nations Global Leadership Awards Gala in New York last Wednesday.
