Britney Spears takes a friendly swipe at her father Jamie in her new fly-on-the-wall documentary - by mocking his gestures and actions in front of a group of pals.

The Toxic superstar took time out from filming her Womanizer promo to entertain friends with a satirical take on her beloved dad - who was named as the conservator of the singer's estate following her public meltdown earlier this year.

In the footage, filmed for Spears' tell-all MTV documentary, Britney: For The Record, the star makes fun of her dad's phone manner and his behaviour when he gets stressed with her.

Performing in front of pals, Spears puts on a strong Louisiana accent, saying, "Britney, now get your ass in here, you sit your ass down!"

The singer then storms about the room talking into a phone, much to the amassment of her entourage.

But the skit may hide Spears' real feelings towards her father - after she revealed his control of her career and wealth sometimes stifles her creativity.

She admits, "I think it's too in control. If I wasn't under the restraints I'm under, I'd feel so liberated. When I tell them the way I feel, it's like they hear but they're really not listening."
