Katy Perry and hip-hop star Travis McCoy have split just weeks after the I Kissed A Girl singer denied reports the couple was engaged.

Sources close to the pair claim Perry and the Gym Class Heroes frontman broke up after weeks of arguments over her busy 2009 touring schedule, and McCoy has already gone online to blast his ex in a bitter poem on his website.

He writes, "We fight every night, now that's not kosher. I reminisce with bliss of when we was closer. And wake up to be greeted by an argument again, You act like you're 10."
