Usher is set to star in an urban version of 'Saturday Night Fever.'

The R'n'B singer will take the lead role in 'Step in the Name of Love', which will be a modern, black version of the classic '70s disco movie, which gave John Travolta his big break.

Usher, who has previously acted in hit films 'The Faculty' and 'She's All That', is also set to produce the movie.

A source revealed: "Usher is one of the biggest music stars on the scene at the moment. His involvement will mean the film will be a huge blockbuster."
