Evanescence star Amy Lee discovered a hidden passion while making the band's video for Everybody's Fool - she's now planning to record soundtrack albums.

The gothic singer deems cinema one of her greatest inspirations, and she's eager to make her mark in Hollywood, but not as an actress.

She says, "I'm really inspired by film. More than anything I'm inspired by the music of film, so I think my next goal would most likely be writing music for movies.

"And I would love to write a screenplay, more than actually play the part that someone else wrote. I'm more the creator. I do like to act, but it's more likely you'll find me behind the scenes."
