How do live chat events work?
We invite the celebrity guest(s) to participate live in the chat room. The fans (you!) enter questions into the chat window, either before the event by cliking on 'ask questions now' on the calendar or as the event is in progress. Our moderators screen the questions, pick the best ones and pass them on to the celebrity to answer live. Their responses appear in real-time in the chat room.Will my question be answered?
Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that every question will be answered. Most events have thousands of fans sending in questions - there is no way that we could get to every question in the limited time that we have with the guest. However, we do our best to get to as many as possible!What if I can't be here?

Moderators screen all questions submitted. We select questions that are appropriate, interesting, and keep the event flowing. Often many similar questions will be submitted -- in which case we will give priority to whoever submitted the question first.Where is the celebrity?
Celebrities usually participate by telephone; we read out the questions and type their answers into the chat room. Sometimes they participate live from our offices or they sign on to watch the chat live!Why can't I chat with them directly?
There is no way to accomodate each individual's desire to chat with the celebrity directly. This is the best compromise - submit your questions early for the best chance that the celebrity will answer!How do I know that it is REALLY the celebrity in the chat room?
We never 'fake' an event. If the celebrity is unable to attend, we cancel or reschedule for another date. You are always speaking directly with the celebrity -- no publicist, manager, friend, etc! They are live with you in the chat room.
